Why can't I find my wi-fi network in the list of available networks during app setup?

When setting up your fan, its Wi-Fi module scans for compatible networks in the area. If there are a lot of networks in your vicinity it may not see yours on the first try. Consider trying again or waiting for the list of networks to refresh. You can also manually enter your network name and password by tapping the <Other> button in the bottom center of the screen.

• Make sure your network is password protected. WEP and open networks are not supported.

• Make sure your network is compatible with 802.11 b/g/n. To confirm your network is compatible with 802.11 b/g/n, check your router settings or contact your router manufacturer.
• Make sure your network’s SSID is not hidden.
• Make sure your network is broadcasting in 2.4 GHz. 5 GHz networks are not supported and will not be displayed.
