How do I Perform a Factory Reset on the fan with no Remote or Wall Controls?

A factory reset will return your fan to default manufacturer settings. This can be helpful if your fan is encountering issues with the Modern Forms app and needs to be reset.

NOTE: Please be aware that performing a factory reset on your fan will remove your fan's connection to the Modern Forms app. The fan must be re-added into the Modern Forms app in order to control it again.

To reset a fan’s receiver, you will have to access your fan’s canopy.

Once you have accessed the fan’s canopy, please locate the white, t-shaped receiver module.

On the module you will see a small reset button with the word “RESET” embossed beside it.

Press and hold this button with either a pen or a small screwdriver until you hear three, consecutive beeps. These beeps will indicate a successful factory reset.

Following this, the fan should begin to broadcast its service set indicator (SSID) allowing you to reconnect the fan to the Modern Forms app.
