How do I Perform a Factory Reset with my Remote or Wall Controls?

A factory reset returns the fan to default manufacturer settings. This can be helpful in cases where your fan is behaving irregularly, or if you are encountering errors with the Modern Forms app.

NOTE: Please be aware that performing a factory reset on your fan will remove your fan's connection to the Modern Forms app. The fan must be re-added into the Modern Forms app in order to control it again.

NOTE: For fans on firmware versions older than v26, please be aware that performing a factory reset will also remove paired controllers from the fan. Factory Reset utilizing the Remote or Wall Control Unit.

1. Shut off power to the circuit for 10-15 seconds and then turn power back on
2.  Press and hold , and buttons for 10 seconds.
3. The LED will blink green and the receiver will beep 3 times to indicate that the factory reset was successful.
